Joshua tree is an interesting destination for a boujee biatch like me. An airbnb at Joshua Tree is the closest I’ll ever come to camping out but I would def do this again. Don’t get me wrong, Joshua Tree National Park is gorgeous -in large rocks, cool big cactus kinda way. It’s just that the main thing to do at Joshua Tree is hike and climb those rocks. It’s an active type of destination. But this airbnb was unreal so I knew I’d thrive. I sat by the pool, then I floated for a bit, then I got out and lay by the pool again. Solid time. I’m just more of a palms spring resort type of girl but this stay had me feeling the outdoorsy vibe. The airbnb had a private cave next to the pool. My friends thrived in that cave. They wild.
Villa Fiori is hosted by Dale who meets you at Check In, gives a quick tour and then hands over the keys. He stays a mile away so he’s available via cell if you have any questions or need recs. The house has 3 bedrooms, 4 beds (lots of extra sleeping pads) and 1 bathroom. It’s got a stunning pool surrounded by gigantic rocks and a hot tub! Obviously 10/10 recommend staying here.
5 things to do in Joshua Tree 🌵Â
Honestly we barely left our Airbnb; it had so many rocks, a cave, a pool, cactuses, wildlife – literally everything a person would come to Joshua Tree for. Here are 5 things we planned to check out but…we never got around to it because Nate discovered the existence of Buzz Balls.
Arch Rock
-takes 10 min to get to, not really a hike but does include walking
Wall Street Mill
-more of trail walk, than a hike. The walk along the way is prettier than the destination
The StationÂ
-cute shop transformed from a 1949 service station.Â
The Integratron
-In the 1950s, a guy -George Van Tassel claimed he got alien tech and built this dome. Now, the dome’s a venue for guided sound baths. Intriguing.
Pioneer Town
-recommend making a short stop here on the way out. Cute to see some of the sets of major old western films. It’s not all mock buildings though, some are stil functional like the burger spot, Pappy and Harriet’s.
