Honestly, I wasn’t sure I’d want to stay at a Marriott when traveling in India but I was pleasantly surprised when I saw this hotel pop up on the app. The best part of the Marriott name has to be all the hotels outside America lol This wasn’t your average Fairfield; the ITC collection has partnered with Marriott to give guests luxury service housed inside stunning regional architecture with all the modern amenties they’d need. Since I was traveling with my mom and she doesn’t do the whole airbnb thing- she loves a hotel’s safety and high level standard of service-I decided to book it.

Entrance to the grand world of ITC Rajputana, the luxe hotel nestled in the heart of Jaipur, the Pink City of India. The location is so prime as it’s literally smack in the middle.

ITC Rajputana has all the essentials- it’s got a pool, room service, wifi and comes with all the minis that hotels supply. Yeah, its the definition of first world probs but I never take a hair dryer for granted. I usually choose to stay in heritage hotels because those just have immaculate aesthetic opportunities- but this ITC property gave me almost heritage hotel feels.

The interior architecture is a vibe. Designed to resemble a traditional Rajasthani palace, the hotel has adapted regional grandeur at every corner. The intricate carvings, magnificent arches, and vibrant colors transport you back in time. As you step inside, you are greeted by the opulent interiors adorned with traditional artworks, hand-painted frescoes, and antique furnishings.

The best part about staying in hotels in India is their hospitality and the ITC Rajputana takes pride in its unmatched standard. They offer personalized services that make every guest feel like royalty. From the warm welcome upon arrival, the attention to detail in your room, or the prompt service at the restaurants, each interaction with the hotel’s staff is a testament to their commitment to providing a memorable experience. This gorgeous white hotel is a true embodiment of the the traditional Rajasthani culture and heritage, offering an premier experience to all their guests. From their regal interior to its warm hospitality, ITC Rajputana is a haven for those seeking a blend of modern luxury and tradition.

The menu had the most amazing drink options-ITC hotels are known for their culinary experience and this was one we kept going back to. Their vibrant bar, Jaipur Pavilion hit the spot when I needed to unwind after a full day of exploring the city. Honestly, I’m a fan of street food and going out in a city to eat but this hotel had a restaurant worth ending a night in! Their iconic Peshwari restaurant had the most tender lamb. Abhi got their Barrah Kabab, chargrilled lamb, marinated in spices, vinegar and yogurt. I got plenty of their naan and dal which is always a hit with a nibbler like me.

Their vibrant bar, Jaipur Pavilion hit the spot when I needed to unwind after a full day of exploring the city. This is the view you get when you’re sipping on a drink in their lawn chairs once you walk out.

When you walk out near the pool around 7pm, there are folk dancers performing. They stay out about an hour interacting and dancing for the guests. If you’re outgoing like my bestie, Apoorva then you join in. The Marriott team really did try to infuse regional vibes everywhere they could-shoutout to authenticity. The other hotel guests seemed to be mostly business travelers or families so they were definitely here for the comfort and ease of staying at an ITC property and not necessarily the heritage.

Although I didn’t have time during our short stay, the Spa has 3 ayurvedic wellness rituals. You have your pick of “Exotic Pomegrenate, Passage to India and the Kaya Kalp Massage.  See here for details.

ITC Rajputana is way more than just a place to crash after exploring Jaipur. It’s central location captures the ease and charm of Jaipur. Whether a luxe foodie or craving 5 star comfort, ITC Rajputana is worth staying in. It’s comfy, aesthetic, and beyond clean. Being completely transparent though- the aesthetic is confined mostly to the lobby and central areas. The rooms are well equipped but they don’t come with gorgeous views. Although, you are trading the views for an easy access point that’s central to the city.
